Before you start
- Information & documents · Card application — adult, child aged 14 or younger, and ages 15–17
- In order to apply for a library card, you must have a valid picture ID such as a driver's license or California ID card. You must also have proof of your current address if the address is not correct on your picture ID. This proof can be a utility bill or a valid piece of delivered U. S. mail. Children who are 14 years or younger must have a parent or legal guardian apply on their behalf. The parent or guardian will be held responsible for all library materials. Teens 15-17 years of age can use their current school ID. Parents name and date of birth will be required. You will select a 4 digit PIN to use with your library card number when accessing your account or databases online. Your library card is required to use the library computers or to check out library materials. [4]
- Availability · Temporary online eCard supplies digital resources; full-access documents remain separate
- Instantly access our Digital Collections and eResources with a temporary eCard when you apply using the Online Self-Registration Form! [5]
Choose the actual provider’s named branch and confirm its posted opening/contact arrangements before travel. Membership and special-card eligibility remain subject to the separate card rules; directory status widgets are not a CountyWiki live-opening guarantee.
