Privacy

CountyWiki is a directory. Your applications and payments take place on official websites.

Search and correction drafts

There are no accounts or advertising scripts. Search text is included in the URL. The correction form stores its drafts in your browser’s local storage; they are not sent to a server. You can delete saved reports on the correction page.

Website analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand visits and improve this directory. It sends pageview data to Vercel, including page paths, referring websites, browser and device information, and approximate location. Statistics are aggregated, and the analytics service does not use tracking cookies. Pageview URLs have query parameters and fragments removed before they are sent. Correction drafts are not included in analytics.

External websites

Links to government offices open their websites in a new tab. Each website has its own privacy policy and practices. CountyWiki cannot see records or applications you access there.

Please leave out personal information

Do not include names of private individuals, identification numbers, payment details or sensitive government records in error reports.
