- A fee-exempt copy of a birth certificate may be issued to a person, child, or youth whose homeless status is verified. For more information, visit our No Fee Birth Certificate for Homeless Persons page. [14]

- Newborn certificates are available approximately 4 weeks after the birth date. Call our office at 874-6334 to verify that the record is available prior to your visit. [15]

- Confidential Marriage Records An authorized copy of a confidential marriage record may only be issued to a registrant of the confidential marriage (FAM 509) or by court order (FAM 511). Informational copies of confidential marriage records cannot be issued (HSC 103526(b)(2)). [17]
