Public services — dog licensing — kings licensing

In Kings County, all dogs are required to be licensed and vaccinated against rabies. We license for Armona, Stratford, Kettleman City, NAS Lemoore, and those outside of the Hanford and Lemoore city limits. If you live within Hanford City limits take your paperwork to the Hanford Police Department at 425 N Irwin St. In Lemoore City limits contact Animal Control at 559-924-5333. Kings County Animal Services has partnered with DocuPet to provide an enhanced pet licensing experience for residents. Your pet’s license now includes DocuPet’s free HomeSafe™ 24/7 lost pet service and designer license tags with personalization options. Additionally, 20% of every designer tag purchase is donated to Kings County Animal Services through DocuPet’s Safe&Happy Fund. Our new licensing process with DocuPet allows residents to select a standard license tag at no additional charge or upgrade to one of DocuPet’s colorful designer tag styles for $15. Visit kingscounty.docupet.com to license your dog now and browse hundreds of license tag styles. Licenses are good for the length of your pet's rabies vaccine. Prices are $10 - 1 year, $15 - 2 year, $20 - 3 year.
