Emergency alerts & evacuation information

Find local emergency-alert registration, assistance and county-linked evacuation tools across California.

Before you start

For a life-threatening emergency, call 9-1-1 and follow instructions from local public safety officials.
Register for local alerts where you live, work or regularly spend time. Keep your contact methods and registered addresses current, including after a programme changes platforms.
Choose a county to find registration guidance and official evacuation tools. Check the official live sources for current conditions, warnings and orders.
Local subscriptions, Wireless Emergency Alerts and earthquake warnings work differently. Check device settings and use more than one official information channel.
Look for current access notices and assistance options. Registration requirements, language options and support contacts vary by programme.
