Find passport acceptance and application information

Find verified local acceptance information, appointments and official alternatives. Check suspended services and renewal rules before visiting.

Before you start

  • Confirm whether your application needs in-person acceptance or is eligible for federal renewal; a county acceptance agent does not issue passports.
  • Check current appointment and resident restrictions before visiting. Some listed county offices explicitly no longer process applications.
